Company Policy
At Sound Equine Services, we are committed to delivering professional farrier care with clarity, safety, and transparency. Please review the following policies that govern our services:
1. General Liability Disclaimer
Sound Equine Services provides professional farrier services that inherently involve interaction with large animals. While our team prioritizes safety and professionalism, all equine-related activities carry risk.
By requesting or receiving services from Sound Equine Services, clients acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any risks associated with the handling, trimming, or shoeing of horses. This includes, but is not limited to, the potential for injury to horses, clients, bystanders, or property.
Sound Equine Services, its owners, contractors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising from services rendered.
2. Use of Radiographs
Radiographic images (X-rays) may be reviewed by Sound Equine Services solely to assist with trim alignment, shoe placement, and mechanical shoeing recommendations.
We emphasize the following:
-
Radiographs are used strictly for farrier reference and are not used for medical diagnosis.
-
Sound Equine Services does not offer veterinary interpretations or treatments.
-
Clients are responsible for consulting a licensed veterinarian regarding any health or lameness concerns.
3. Payment Policy
Payment is required on the same day services are rendered and must be completed before the farrier leaves the appointment location.
We accept the following forms of payment:
-
Cash
-

Late or missed payments may result in service interruptions, late fees, and collection efforts.
4. Appointment & Service Terms
By booking an appointment, clients confirm they are the legal owner or authorized agent for the horse(s) and agree to these policies. Ongoing service may be contingent on the client’s compliance with payment terms, safety standards, and communication protocols.
If you have any questions about these policies or require clarification before your appointment, please contact us.
